SkillsHub is the Victorian council appointed to promote and advocate skills and workforce development in the creative and leisure industries. Membership of our organisation provides a host of benefits and will help ensure that SkillsHub can continue to provide industry with access to government subsidised training; provide strategic advice on the skills and workforce development needs of industry and ensure “best fit” training to meet the needs of industry.

Membership benefits

By becoming a member of SkillsHub, you share a commitment with us to promote skills development across the creative and leisure industries and, in return get the benefit of:

• direct access to information and advice on government funded training for the creative and leisure industries
• access to experienced workforce development consultants that can help you to find skills solutions for your business
• networking and professional development opportunities
• advocacy - as the authority appointed by government to provide advice on skills needs for the creative and leisure industries we are uniquely placed to advocate on your behalf if you are experiencing difficulty finding the skills you need or accessing government funded training for your staff

Membership structure

We have membership categories to suit a variety of needs and budgets.

• Subscriber/Contributor – free subscription to our regular E-Newsletter and invitations to all workshops and events.

• Individual Industry Associate - designed to meet the needs of industry professionals, including freelancers and sole operators that would like tailored information on government funded training opportunities for their sector. This level of membership provides you with a 15% discount on our workshops and events and up to one free visit per year with one of our experienced consultants to talk about issues relating to your business or career progression. Cost $110 or $55 per year for student membership.

• Organisation - suitable for government agencies, peak industry bodies, small and large employers. This category allows members to gain information, advocacy and strategic advice. This level of membership provides promotion of your business/organisation's commitment to skills development via our website's members online directory and a discount of 15% for staff within your organisation that wish to attend our workshops and events. Cost $220 per year

• Registered Training Organisation – available to small and large RTO’s. For large RTO’s with more than 1500 students, SkillsHub membership rates are by department. This category allows members to gain information, advocacy and strategic advice. This level of membership entitles you to provide your logo for display on our website and provides a discount of 15% for staff within your organisation that wish to attend our workshops and events. Cost $220 per year

• Current Members
