Overview
Each SkillsHub research project involves a process of clarifying goals, defining key research questions, and determining the most effective methods of data collection. Multiple research methods are often used—including industry roundtables, focus groups, interviews, written surveys, and literature reviews—to ensure that industry perspectives are accurately represented in the findings.
SkillsHub is committed to providing high quality research and ensuring that timely and accurate advice is available to our stakeholders, including State and Federal government, training providers and industry representatives. SkillsHub regularly convenes industry roundtables to validate our research and to strengthen our position in the following industry clusters:
- Fitness and Wellness
- Sport and Community Recreation
- Outdoor Recreation
- Galleries, Libraries and Museums
- Visual arts, craft and design
- Film, television and radio
- Multimedia, animation and games

Industry roundtables
It is expected that the industry roundtables will meet once, possibly twice a year to discuss and validate information SkillsHub puts forward in our annual Change Driver's Report. The roundtables may also be called upon to meet on a needs basis (for example when a review of a training package is taking place).
